Job Title: Junior Project Engineer - Multi-TradeLocation: Yeovilton
Are you a dedicated and dynamic Junior Project Engineer with a strong background in multi-trade projects? Working on behalf of our client, a well-established company with a growing presence in the Defence sector, we are searching for an individual with a commitment to excellence to join their Defence contract team at Yeovilton.
Established in 1947 in Shropshire, our client has proudly remained a privately owned family business for over seven decades. Renowned for their exceptional reputation in the building services sector, they provide a wide range of electrical and mechanical design, installation, and maintenance services across various industries.
The primary focus of this office encompasses electrical and mechanical services, as well as property maintenance projects ranging in value from £250,000 to £1 million.
Key Requirements:
As the successful candidate, you must meet the following criteria:
* Proven track record of a willingness to develop and learn while working alongside an experienced team.
* Possession of a Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
* CSCS skills card.
* Relevant industry experience.
* Local residence to the area with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) trade experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while maintaining a focus on quality, health, safety, and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing onsite labor and sub-contractors, setting and overseeing targets and goals to ensure effective, safe, and correct project completion.
* Generating progress reports for submission to superiors.
* Handling day-to-day tasks onsite efficiently.
* Collaborating with the existing site team and providing technical support for project variances and changes when required.
* Participating in meetings with clients and contractors.
* Actively contributing to project engineering alongside the design and Pre-Construction teams.
* Procuring materials and equipment as needed through an established buying process.
* Evaluating sub-contractor and consultant performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Creating and adhering to MEP Construction programs.
* Managing project document control, ensuring access and organization of documents for all sub-contractors and contractors involved in projects.
* Providing general support to other departments as directed within the organisation.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security clearance process to gain access to the MoD site.
