Are you an experienced Embedded Software Engineer/Firmware Engineer with a strong background in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)? If so, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a technology-driven company with a team boasting over two decades of experience.
You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation and working within a specialized niche of the automotive sector, for a leading UK industry player experiencing rapid growth thanks to their dedicated customer base.
As a valued member of their highly skilled team, your primary responsibility will involve identifying software enhancements within embedded environments for our production-released products. You'll craft clean, well-structured, and dependable code for various processors and microcontrollers, all while addressing hardware issues and implementing innovative solutions.
The ideal candidate should possess previous experience in a similar role, with a solid grasp of Embedded C and RTOS. Additionally, you should be comfortable contributing to all aspects of code design and exhibit a practical approach to implementation, including the development of new embedded architectures to support our expanding product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software/firmware solutions for new product ranges, as well as maintain existing products as required.
Generate clear, well-documented, structured, and reliable code for various processors and microcontrollers, requiring proficiency in C.
Identify, implement, and test embedded software for products.
Contribute to defining software architecture and design for efficiency and reusability.Requirements:
Essential experience with RTOS and a comprehensive understanding of complex real-time systems' constraints and requirements.
Proficiency in Version Control Systems, especially Subversion.
Knowledge of RTOS, preferably Freescale MQX, VCS (SVN/CVS), Serial Communications (preferably CAN Bus).
Familiarity with mathematical modeling software such as Matlab or Simulink.
Prior experience in the automotive industry or similar
