Our Nottinghamshire based client is seeking a Maintenance Sales Administrator to join their growing sales team on a permanent basis. As a Maintenance Sales Administrator, you are the first point of contact for all maintenance customers. Your role is instrumental to the smooth operation of the maintenance department, ensuring our customer experience is seamless from initial enquiry, order and throughout the maintenance contract.
THE ROLE
As a Maintenance Sales Administrator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Generate new sales leads and make initial contact with potential customers.
* Be responsible from initial enquiry to the point of order, including preparing and issuing maintenance quotes, following up quotes, and processing orders.
* Communicate confidently with your clients and suppliers to ensure their requirements are being met.
* Negotiate terms of sales, agreements and closing sales with customers.
* Keep the internal database up to date with client and project information.
* Read, check and sign contracts associated with your projects.
* Liaise with internal accounts department, operations team, and engineering team.
* Develop product knowledge through regular training and site visits.
* Provide basic technical troubleshooting to clients (training provided).
* Support your team, team leader and sales director.
THE CANDIDATE
An ideal candidate for the Maintenance Sales Administrator position will possess the following attributes:
* Experience in B2B and B2C sales.
* Computer literate with experience of the basic Microsoft package.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Enthusiastic and hardworking attitude.
* Ability to think on your feet and be self-motivated.
* Excellent customer service skills and/or sales experience.
* A team player.
* Organised and methodical, with attention to detail.
* Confident telephone manner.
Whilst not essential, it would be an advantage to:
* Have experience using a CRM System
* Have your own transport due to the rural location

* Office hours 8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.
