Job summary

Manpower are looking for 7.5 tonne, (C1) Drivers to work out of Gatwick site to help us to cover their busy postal industry requirements. We are looking to cover a variety of requirements over 7 days a week.

Manpower also service other 7.5 tonne sites along the south including Croydon, Guildford and Jubilee, so we are looking for drivers that are happy to work out of various sites on occasions. We also support our neighboring Manpower Branches that cover Jubilee, Southampton, Rochester and Chelmsford, so plenty of work for those that are flexible and don't mind being one of our team players.

We have a wide range of shifts available as this is a 24/7 operation, and various shift lengths, so whether you want days, nights, weekends, full weeks or the odd day we can work with you, please do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss the various opportunities.

Our ideal candidate must hold a valid C+E (Class 1) HGV driving license and have a digital tacho and DCPC qualification cards and have at least 2 years' experience driving of Class 1 vehicles in the UK.

All drivers regardless of length of experience will have to undergo a driving assessment - Once you have passed all relevant check and assessments, we can then place you. Your job will be to help move packets and letters around the country, you'll be required to follow schedules and itineraries to the letter, so the ability to follow detailed instructions is a key skill as this is vital in keeping the systems moving and running to time.
