Job summary
Kidderminster Principal Digital Design Engineer (Audio) 70-80kPlatform have partnered with an exciting company that are specialists within audio processing and sound management systems. They are looking to bring on a Principal Engineer with a strong audio background who can help bring in new expertise and ideas to help with company goals. Main Duties:
+ Lead projects and take full responsibility for all aspects of the products development.
+ Work on designing digital hardware and microcomputers through to firmware, DSP coding, GUI development and high-speed digital networking.
+ Project management: Ensure budgets and timelines are met, delegate areas of development to other team members where necessary.
Skills Needed:
+ Strong audio experience with a history of working within audio companies
+ Experience hands on designing of low voltage logic systems including PICs, microprocessors and data transmission etc.
+ Design of DSP systems, ideally using Sharc processors but this isnt essential.
This role would require someone to be on site due to the hands on nature of the hardware but flexible working could be considered once up to speed to allow a couple of days from home.
