Manucomm is currently seeking a Manufacturing Co-ordinator / Operations Coordinator / Planner to join a successful food manufacturing company based near Newton Abbott. The company is going through exciting times and are now looking for a Manufacturing Co-ordinator that can work closely with Key Personnel at the site and really put "your mark" on the role.
The purpose of your role will be to provide support to the production management team. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will
Generate and report production performance using established KPIs to the production team and the wider senior management team.
Working closely with the sales and purchasing departments to generate production plan and once in place liaising with departments to ensure the continued smooth running of the production department.
Primary site responsibility for stock control system, ensuring correct stock rotation is being followed, perpetual stock checks are being carried out and forecasting of stock levels.
General administrative duties to support the production management team with maintaining health and safety, environmental and quality management systems.
Production Coordinator Key Skills / Experience Required:
A background working in production or planning in a manufacturing environment would be ideal but not necessary as full training will be given.
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
Able to prioritise workload and to work to tight deadlines.
Flexible approach to working patterns as some holiday cover for production management team may be required.
