INTERNAL SALES ENGINEERThis thriving and ambitious business is looking to capitalise on its continued growth by adding 2 office based Internal Sales Engineers to join their already thriving team.
Reporting to the Senior Internal Sales Engineer you will be responsible for promoting the companys services and products to both new and existing clients. In return you will receive an attractive salary of c£32k (OTE £40k) + pension + 25 Hols + Stats + a fantastic working environment.
The successful candidate will be experienced in a sales environment with a technical background offering both commercial and technical solutions to customers. Candidates with mechanical acumen would be of particular interest.

Job Description
Working within an established team, you will look to maintain/improve the companys profile and be responsible for product selection, quotations, customer enquiries and order processing.
Key responsibilities:
* Reporting activities to the Senior Internal Sales Engineer
* To prospect new clients and applications
* To respond to clients technical/commercial enquiries
* To design appropriate solutions to client requirements
* To generate quotations for the clients and other internal departments
* To provide technical support/information for clients and other internal departments
* To improve and maintain knowledge of company products and services
* Sales order checking for prices and component selection
* Sales order entry and maintenance
* Follow up sales quotations
* To maintain the customer database and customer relationship management system.
* Operate within the company QMS
* Complaints resolution & investigation of issues
* Promote commercial aspects of each call

Essential Skills/Qualifications
* Sales experience with a technical knowledge
* Customer service experience
* A keen eye for detail
* A confident communicator
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word/Excel/Powerpoint
* Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills
* Mechanical engineering qualification/background
* Experience with other mainstream software programs (Sap) would be desirable
* Articulate, self-motivated, dynamic and organised
