Job summary
As an ATEX Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in conducting thorough inspections, assessments, and audits of equipment, installations, and facilities within potentially explosive atmospheres. Your expertise will be essential in verifying compliance with ATEX directives and regulations, thereby minimizing the risk of explosions and ensuring the safety of personnel and property.Responsibilities:
* Perform detailed inspections of equipment, machinery, and installations located in hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with ATEX directives, regulations, and relevant industry standards.
* Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential ignition sources, combustible materials, and other hazards within explosive atmospheres.
* Collaborate with clients to schedule and coordinate inspection visits, adhering to project timelines and requirements.
* Compile comprehensive inspection reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions needed to achieve compliance.
* Advise clients on best practices for ATEX compliance, offering guidance on equipment maintenance, risk reduction strategies, and emergency response procedures.
* Stay updated on changes to ATEX regulations and other relevant industry standards, ensuring the continuous improvement of inspection processes.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to support the implementation of corrective actions and improvements.
* Provide training and educational sessions to clients and internal staff, fostering a culture of safety awareness and ATEX compliance.
* Participate in continuous professional development to enhance technical knowledge and stay informed about emerging trends in ATEX-related technologies and practices.
* £26ph Monday to Friday First 38 hours
* £32ph After 38 hours
* LTD / CIS Payments available.
* Digs provided (B&B/Travelodge etc).
* Food Allowance also paid at £35 per night.
* 4 hours at basic paid for travel
* 5 Days a week, 48 hours per week (guaranteed hours)
