Mason James are partnered with an industry leader in Engineering Systems and Software with a reach that covers Europe. We have a new opportunity for a Systems Engineering Manager to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

Overview

As Systems Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the success of our engineering team, specifically focusing on systems engineering. You will lead a high-performing team and spearhead innovative engineering solutions.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Bonus & Benefits.

Summary:

* Lead, build and manage a team of talented Systems Engineers, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.

* Drive the creation and implementation of cutting-edge systems engineering strategies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

* Collaborate closely with cross-discipline team members, to ensure seamless integration of systems components.

* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to think outside the box and push the boundaries of engineering excellence.

* Oversee the successful execution of complex systems engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

* Develop department improvement plans, processes and budgets

* Produce, evolve and deploy skills development plans for your team

* Drive the creation and implementation of cutting-edge systems engineering strategies, methodologies, and best practices to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

* Research new technology and develop a product vision.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in leading and managing engineering team.

* Strong background in systems engineering or technical project management.

* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to inspire and motivate a team towards shared goals.

* Hands on electronics experience is not essential, but an attitude to research current development in technological change will be necessary.
