Job summary
A new opportunity has arisen to work with a long established and well-respected mortgage lender who are embarking on an exciting journey on their transformation agenda. They are looking for an IT Technical Analyst to join their IT Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your skills, knowledge, and experience to help evolve their IT department and support them on their journey to deliver their exciting agenda.Key Responsibilities
* To set up, install and configure hardware.
* To analyse and assist in projects that are related.
* To provide support for software and all hardware.
* To carry out scheduled operational routines as requested.
* To carry out housekeeping tasks and back-ups as requested
* To monitor the documentation relating to the configuration of systems and ensure they are updated as required.
* To liaise with suppliers regarding the purchasing of consumables and PC hardware and software.
* To create reports as and when required.
* To implement Activate & Summit parameters.
* To maintain the businesss telephone systems.
* To maintain a log of all IT tickets and user requests.
* To maintain and implement IT security best practices across all IT systems.
* To monitor and respond to alerts from all monitored IT systems.
* To work within accordance with any agreed internal Service Level Agreements.
* To report to and escalate any issues where required to the IT team leader.
* To support Microsoft 365 and Azure Environments
* To Support Windows Server and VMWare Virtualisation Technologies
Skills & Experiences Required
* Qualified in an IT related subject.
* Experience within an IT support role, ideally you will have an ITIL Foundation Qualification and experience working within financial services or a regulated environment and regulatory systems, but this is not essential.
* Strong understanding of IT Systems and Microsoft packages and a basic understanding of network infrastructure.
