We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Specialist to join StepChange Debt Charity and make a difference. Applicants should be able to attend the office in Leeds for any away days, approximately twice a year. We are currently working in a blended, hybrid environment, you can work from any of our offices in Leeds, Cardiff, Chester, Newcastle or Glasgow with an expectation to work from the office twice per month as a minimum requirement. However, this may change, and flexibility is required to meet our departmental objectives.
What you'll be doing
Providing learning & development expertise across Stepchange in line with the L&D strategy and wider organisational goals
Manage learning activity through all elements of the development cycle (LNA, design, delivery, Evaluation)
Designing high quality and impactful learning that is aligned with the charity brand and strategic goals
Manage learning projects to deliver quality learning solutions on time and to the required standard
Delivering effective learning at all levels including some leadership development activity
Design, source, implement and oversee early careers requirements across the charity, for example, graduate Programmes and Apprenticeships
Working closely with the digital Learning Team to continuously review and improve learning methodologies in line with our 'digital first' strategy
Keep abreast of current and evolving issues, initiatives, and changes across the Debt Advice sector

What we want from you
Demonstrable experience in a Learning & Development role
Experience in designing learning materials through the full, end to end process
Employing blended learning approaches that delivers an uplift in performance
Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable)
Experience of delivering training to leaders or management (desirable)
Experience of sourcing and overseeing Apprenticeship Programmes (desirable)
