Job summary
Sue Ross Recruitment are working with an international company based in the heart of the beautiful Peak District close to the village of Hope. The offices are easily accessible from Sheffield and are close by to Hope train station which is serviced by regular trains on the Manchester to Sheffield line.You will be responsible for managing the entire spare parts process, ensuring timely delivery, accurate inventory management, and outstanding customer service.
Key duties:
* Receiving and processing customer requests for spare parts, both via email and phone.
* Accurately identifying required spare parts based on customer enquiries and technical documentation.
* Collaborating with the procurement team to source and order spare parts from approved suppliers.
* Ensuring the availability of spare parts by maintaining an organised inventory system and co-ordinating with the warehouse team.
* Managing customer orders from placement to fulfilment, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Providing technical support and guidance to customers regarding spare parts selection and compatibility.
* Managing spare parts pricing, quotations, and invoicing in collaboration with the sales team.
* Maintaining accurate records of spare parts transactions, including sales, returns, and warranty claims.
* Assisting in the development and improvement of spare parts processes and documentation.
* Collaborating with other departments, such as sales, service, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
* General Office Duties.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Technical aptitude and the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and documentation would be an advantage.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory management and order processing.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and spare parts management software would be an advantage.
* Previous experience in MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) would be an advantage but not essential.

* Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
* 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 -12.30 pm on a Friday.
