About The Role
In this role youll have the opportunity to work in both the learning and development and advice and guidance teams, based at our head office in Chandlers Ford.
Youll be providing an effective Human Resources administration service within the advice and guidance team, in an efficient, professional, effective, and timely manner.
Alongside this youll be supporting the learning and development team by co-ordinating and administrating training requirements, to ensure staff are trained and developed to enable them to be safe and successful in their roles.
Specific tasks include:
L&D Administration
* Support L&D Co-ordinator in the sourcing and organising of compliance, core and domain specific training as required by the business, either in-house or externally as needed and delivered via all learning methods within agreed timeline.
* Liaise with training providers/training venues/hotels/caterers etc.
* Collate training feedback ready for evaluation by L&D Co-ordinator.
* Co-ordinate completion certificates to be recorded; checked; distributed; diarised for renewal & system updated.
* Contribute to the smooth running of training Inbox and co-ordinate to meet business/department needs.
* Maintain a preferred suppliers list of training providers.
* Produce training agreements as required within agreed timelines.
* Support the L&D Co-ordinator to ensure all training process are complete for leavers; transfers; job changes; probations etc.
* Input new starters training records onto database to meet business needs.
HR Administration
* Co-ordinate and administer all HR processes for the business units within the Workdry Group, including but not limited to, probations; long service; absence; references; training agreements; etc.
* Co-ordinate with areas of the business and manage health surveillance requirements.
* Monitor performance review completion and coordinate with managers when due, highlighting concerns to HR Advisors. Also monitor for any learning and development requirements and add to relevant business training needs analysis.
* Support the HR Co-ordinator in ensuring the HR system of record is kept up to date with accurate information`, similarly, keep all HR databases up to date and accurate.
* Support the HR Co-ordinator in creating regular reports & presentations and provide HR metrics for board reports & when required to the business / HR team.
* Organise and maintain accurate HR records, working to the guidelines of GDPR.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this position, you will need to be professional and confident, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have the ability to form effective relationships with people at all levels and be able to communicate well over the telephone, face to face and in writing.
What we are looking for:
* Previous demonstrable experience with MS Office applications (Intermediate level).
* Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRLMS.
* A good standard of education to GCSE or NVQ L2 equivalent is required.
* Previous training and/or HR administration experience would be beneficial.
* Demonstrable attention to detail with good administration skills.
* Excellent planning, organising skills, with an ability to prioritise and juggle a busy workload and multi-task.
* Able to pre-empt workload and tasks, with the ability to assimilate new information quickly.
* Demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach, using initiative to problem solve and highlight risks.
* Ability to work both independently, and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of training requirements within the construction industry, engineering, logistics or similar industries (is preferred, but not essential).
