Job summary
My client is currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Your role will be to plan, reserve and execute UK and European group travel itineraries that are carefully planned, logistically manageable, interesting and that are delivered to meet or exceed customer expectations. Offering a salary of £23-25,000 and working hours of 09:00 - 17:30.If you are fluent in Italian this would be an advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
· To plan all itineraries accurately from a logistical perspective.
· To source and reserve all land services relating to tour programmes under your control.
· Use negotiation with suppliers to ensure you secure the most favourable pricing, terms and conditions for the company wherever possible, keeping in mind the requirements of the client, and ensuring that the prices and any agreed timescales are acceptable.
· To carefully manage all budgets within each tour programme ensuring that your tours are profitable.
· To manage, correlate, and file all correspondence accurately and effectively throughout the process, dealing with all requests, changes and other matters arising.
· Finalise all services and produce all necessary tour documentation in a presentable and accurate manner and within the deadlines set.
· Maintain regular contact with client and suppliers throughout the planning process and regular liaison with clients during their tour and with suppliers to reconfirm services.
· Follow-up clients after a specified amount of time to obtain feedback on your tours.

· Outgoing, confident and friendly personality (ie. strong social skills), as will be dealing with a large number of clients and suppliers on a regular basis.
· Ability to work independently and under pressure and using initiative.
· Strong numeracy skills.

· Computer and systems literate.
· Profit and cost aware.
· Good personal time management and ability to work to deadlines, whilst managing multiple programmes.
· Broad geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe.
· Flexibility and willingness to work hours in accordance with the job and necessary deadlines.
· Good problem-solving skills and ability to think out of the box.
OTHER SKILLS:
· Language skills are advantageous, notably Italian (the most important), Spanish, French, German, Dutch
