As a Systems Developer, you will have the opportunity to:
* Take ownership of specific development and improvement initiatives related to our client's student record system, ensuring streamlined processes.
* Seamlessly integrate into the Academic Registry, building strong professional relationships across various teams.
* Utilize your expertise in SITS coding to enhance both client and distributed access.
* Foster effective relationships with software suppliers, keeping our client at the forefront of systems development.
* Stay informed about sector developments, trends, and challenges, initiating best-practice solutions to meet the business aims.
* Ensure data security and the integrity of student records, adhering to best practices.
* Document and effectively communicate processes, policies, and procedures to relevant staff.
* Ensure compliance with established processes, policies, and procedures across the business.
* Collaborate with Directors of School and Professional Services departments to deliver on departmental systems aspirations.
* Enhance student recruitment through continuous development of applicant and student-facing systems.
* Provide advice and support to the assessment process and maintain the business academic and regulatory framework.
* Maintain positive relationships with external suppliers and sector professionals.
* Lead software upgrades and oversee the maintenance of student record systems.
* Develop and deliver guidance, training, and documentation for all system users.
* Contribute significantly to enrollment at various points in the academic year.
* Research, analyze, and develop processes and functionality for collaborative provision arrangements.
* Represent the department in committees and working groups, offering systems solutions to meet strategic and operational needs.
* Participate in the delivery of graduation ceremonies and represent the business at conferences and networks as needed.
