Location: Can be located at any of the following locations: Barnstaple, Bodmin, Camborne, Cullompton, Exeter, Launceston, Newton Abbot, Okehampton, Truro
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Mon - Fri hours = £20.02 per hour & Sat/Sun hours = £30.05 per hour
Headcount: 2 x average 37 hours per week and 1 x average 33.67 hours per week
Spinwell is recruiting for a Firearms Licensing Enquiry Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FIREARMS LICENSING ENQUIRY OFFICER
To undertake enquiries to support the effective control of firearms and ammunition to ensure public safety and full compliance with legislation, Home Office directives and Alliance policy
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FIREARMS LICENSING ENQUIRY OFFICER
* Significant investigative experience over a sustained period
* Experience of using IT, including Microsoft Office applications
* Working knowledge of firearms legislation and current working practices
* Proven experience of decision making utilising a recognised decision making model.
