Company description

Our client loves what they do and need a new team member to help create amazing floral displays in London and the home counties. They are offering a competitive salary, sociable hours and on job training.

They grow, install and maintain award-winning floral displays for their clients - making their premises really stand out.

They're a passionate team who thrive on giving clients the most beautiful flower displays possible. They consider themselves to be one of the very best in the business and thrive on constantly improving service and products.

Job description

Your role will be to lead a small team of maintenance technicians. This will include scheduling their work and your own, ensuring all maintenance visits and the recording of them are completed correctly and that the teams have any equipment and planting required for their visits. You will also be responsible for scheduling the Summer and Winter changeover of displays and any new installations.

Beautiful flower displays don't just happen, they take a lot of planning, expert growing and careful, regular maintenance - and maintenance is what this vital role is all about. As well as organising your team, you will be driving to client sites within the M25 and Central London to tend to hanging baskets, window boxes, roof gardens and unique, living FlowerWalls and undertaking quality control inspections to ensure every client has a display to be proud of. This is very much a hands-on role and as such you MUST be comfortable with working at height and on ladders.

We are looking for candidates who:

* can lead, motivate and organsie a small, friendly team

* take a genuine pride in the service they deliver

* are comfortable driving within Central London and have a full drivers licence

* are happy and comfortable working on ladders

* have a real eye for detail and an ability to work on their own and use their initiative

* are proactive and capable of solving problems whilst on site and helping their team to do the same

* are reliable and consistent with a strong ability to plan - the maintenance schedules are a vital part of our service to clients.

Experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but enthusiasm and commitment are more important as training will be given.

The ideal candidate will be based in West, South West London or Surrey. Most days start in Surrey. A van is provided, along with company uniform and all necessary equipment.

Rewards:

* Pension

* Ongoing training and development

* On-site parking

* Weekdays only

* Uniform provided
