Job summary
Job Overview: Working alongside our client who are leaders in the development of specialist composite materials to source an experienced Quality Manager to join their team to support continued business growth.Benefits:

Remit:
* This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to join a forward-thinking business during an exciting time of sustained business growth
* Successful candidates MUST have proven management experience within the manufacturing industry, with strong working knowledge of managing ISO9001 certification.
Responsibilities:
* Overall responsibility for management and effectiveness of QMS, including maintaining ISO 9001:2015 certification.
* Ensure compliance to external approvals, maintaining certificates from various industry approval bodies. Host external audits as required.
* Manage QA team completing internal auditing, calibration, document control and product certification.
* Manage QC laboratory ensuring raw material and finished product testing is completed as required to support manufacturing.
* Resolve issues of non-conforming product identified through QC testing.
* Ensure non-conformances are effectively addressed through the corrective action process.
* Analyse performance data and make recommendations for improvement.
* Lead quality improvement projects to reduce risk and develop a quality culture.
* Support integration of work practices into new ERP system, and support implementation at other sites
Experience Requirements:
* Degree educated in a science or engineering discipline.
* A Business Improvement Techniques Qualification would also be an advantage.
* 3 years quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to build relationships at all levels of the organisation and work as part of a team.
* Able to organise own workload and manage time effectively.
* Self-motivated.
* Good at problem solving.
