Job summary
Are you a Foreman looking to take the next step in your career?We are seeking a Foreman in Hampshire to join a large civils project, working in an effective and forward thinking team. You will be working alongside a Project Manager and will be responsible for labour, plant safety, and cost-effective production.
Our client is heavily orientated around company culture with a second to none employee retention rate. Being around for almost 100 years, they are a well respected civil engineering and construction contractor with specialisms in design, environment and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities:
Manage the workmanship and quality of the works
Ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments
Support the Site Manager in implementing health, safety, environmental and quality standards across all sites through audits and records
Carry out site inductions to all personnel, daily briefings and toolbox talks
Ensuring the clerk of works/inspectors check work prior to covering up
Ensure time sheets are fully completed and are accurate for the hours worked on siteRequirements:
Site Supervision experience within Civil Engineering & Construction
SSSTS or SMSTS certificate
In-date CSCS certificate
HND/C Civil Engineering or NVQ L3/4 in Construction Site SupervisionThe ideal candidate will be:
