Description
Analyse and prepare reports on inventory costs and trends.
Work closely with procurement and operations to understand cost drivers.
Support the month-end closing process by preparing journal entries related to inventory.
Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliations.
Assist in developing and implementing inventory control procedures.
Participate in budget preparation and variance analysis.
Provide recommendations to management based on cost analysis findings.
Support audit processes by providing necessary inventory cost data.Profile
A successful Inventory Cost Analyst should have:
An educational background in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Experience with inventory cost analysis in the Industrial / Manufacturing sector. (Beneficial)
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
An ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
AAT Qualified / StudierJob Offer
An estimated salary range of ££26000 - £30,000 Starting
25 days of holiday leave, plus bank holidays.
