Job summary
Hello,My client in Southend on Sea is in need of a Product Quality Engineer.
ROLE: The purpose of the role is to inspect products produced.
DUTIES:
* Mechanical inspection of parts and assemblies.
* Participation in Material Review Board activities.
* Resolution of product quality issues,
* Development and implementation of quality and control plans,
* Participate in product and process improvement activities as required,
* Participate in product development activities as required,
* To assist with establishing and approving effective corrective action plans,
* To assist with the identification of training and development needs of employees and to further assist with the delivery of training as required,
* To adhere to Company policies and procedures,
* To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety procedures,
* To be involved with and undertake on-site/off-site testing activities as required.
* To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant as required.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* Proficient in Microsoft operating system, Microsoft Office suite and have a practical approach to solutions.
* Experience working within an aerospace environment
* Able to use all types of basic measuring equipment
* Practical approach to solutions
* Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
* English, Maths and Science GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above are essential.
A recognised industry Apprenticeship
* Previous experience working within a quality role and knowledge of mechanical inspection would be advantageous.
* Mechanical Inspection knowledge
* Full, clean UK driving license
