Job summary
Looking for a challenging and rewarding role as a commercial gas engineer? Look no further!Our client is a national facilities maintenance portfolio that services commercial maintenance contracts for hospitals, schools, and universities. They are seeking a skilled commercial gas engineer to carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks at sites in Bristol and the surrounding areas.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that gas systems are safe and operating efficiently. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to diagnose faults, repair systems, and complete necessary paperwork.
To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of working as a commercial gas engineer, with a relevant qualification such as Gas Safe, City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation, COCN 1 or CODNCO1 = domestic to commercial changeover (CRUCIAL) and ICPN1, TPCP1A, CIGA1, CORT1
You should also have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working with clients and colleagues at all levels.
In return for your skills and expertise, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £38,000 plus a company van, fuel card, 25 days + 8 bank holidays, company pension, BUPA healthcare, and further training opportunities. You will also be part of a supportive team that values and recognizes hard work and dedication.
There will be an on-call rota of 1 in 4 with a stand-by rate of £105 per week + call-outs paid at overtime rates with a minimum of 4 hours pay.
