As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve:
Individualized Support: Provide tailored support to students with autism, SLD, and PMLD, fostering their independence and personal growth.
Collaborative Approach: Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Enthusiastic Engagement: Bring vibrancy and enthusiasm to the classroom, creating a positive atmosphere that enhances the overall learning experience.
Sensitivity and Empathy: Demonstrate a keen understanding of the diverse needs of students and approach your work with sensitivity and empathy.
All you need is:
Relevant Experience: Previous experience working in a special education setting or with students with autism, SLD, or PMLD is highly desirable.
Enthusiastic Attitude: Display a vibrant and enthusiastic approach to supporting students, creating an engaging and positive learning environment.
Empathy and Patience: Possess a genuine passion for working with students with diverse needs, along with patience and understanding.
Immediate Availability: Available to start as soon as possible.
DBS: In order to work in a school you will need an enhanced child only DBS registered to the update service or willing to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
