Automation Sales ConsultantThe customer is a top supplier of cutting-edge solutions for warehouse automation. They have many years of experience providing businesses in a variety of sectors with specialised solutions to maximise warehouse operations. They can process orders more quickly, enhance inventory accuracy, and maximise storage density using our automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyor systems, picking robots, and warehouse management software. They assist clients in reaching new heights of production, efficiency, and competitiveness by utilising the most recent advancements in robotics, machine vision, and warehouse control systems. The organization's skilled engineering staff creates turnkey solutions that are customised to meet the specific needs of each client. To maintain our systems operating at their best, they also offer regular support services and equipment updates.
The Role:
Represent client's Warehouse Solutions with an in-depth knowledge of our automation offerings.
Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve predetermined annual sales targets.
Identify and capitalise on automated solution opportunities.
Work closely on new and existing opportunities with the Business Development and Automated Solutions Team.
Collaborate with various departments to align the sales strategy with overall organisational goals.Duties:
Design, implement and continually improve a scalable Automation Sales Strategy.
Develop leads and enquiries to optimise a variety of automation solutions.
Collaborate with the Business Development and Automated Solutions Teams to conceptualise and present industry-leading solutions.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while establishing connections with new clients to understand their warehouse automation needs.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
Lead project tendering processes and support the project teams.
Be accountable for achieving an annual target.
Strive for continuous improvement in all aspects of the role.
Conduct regular stakeholder and competitor analysis.Skills and Experience:
3 or more years of experience in Automated Solution Sales.
Proven success in the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
Experience working with targets and KPIs.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Inquisitive persona to explore emerging innovation and technology.
Superb leadership and solution development abilities.
Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers.
Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
Engineering qualification or relevant experience.
Strong understanding of the automated warehouse sector, operations, and supply chain management.
