Retail Sales Advisor

This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for a Retail Sales Advisor to work in our Flagship Store, the NCEC (National Catering Equipment Centre). This is an impressive showroom which displays our full range of products, with a demo kitchen which regularly hosts events for our suppliers and customers. It is always a hive of activity, and no two days are the same. We actively encourage every opportunity to engage with our customers, be that in store, on the phone or email. We are looking for a Retail Sales Advisor 40 hours a week, across 5 days, there will be some weekend and bank holiday working.

What will I be doing as a Retail Sales Advisor?

Youll be the foundation of the store so customer focus will be your number priority offering a welcoming experience for all that enter the store
Youll spend time with our customers giving them support and advice on their purchasing needs
Youll get to know your local community and spend time contacting them to raise awareness of your store and the vast range of products we stock, always encouraging them to come and visit
Youll contact previous customers of the store to let them know about special promotions and new product lines
Youll produce quotes for large and more complex orders and track those through to completionWhat can I expect working a Retail Sales Advisor at Nisbets?

Competitive Hourly Rate £11.00ph
Performance related bonus paid quarterly which can typically add £1500 onto your annual salary (pro rata for part time)
20 days holiday plus an attendance Bonus which can mean up to 4 days additional annual leave or a cash payment of £100.

What are we looking for in a Retail Sales Advisor?

We look for natural communicators, someone who is a personable and sociable individual and wants to work for an ever-growing business.
We need a good level of IT Literacy as you will be preparing quotes for customers and operating different systems and using Excel, Word and outlook.
Someone who is commercially focused and motivated by hitting store targets
