Project Manager Mid Sussex
We are currently seeking a Project Manager for:
* A New Build Retirement Living project with a contract value around £35 million, in Sussex Type of Construction: Mixture of Traditional, Timber Frame and Steel Frame.
The individual will be responsible for leading the project and report to the Senior Project Manager

What are the essentials for this role?
Leadership and Management Skills - We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed team player with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including producing regular progress reports. This individual will identify the appropriate resources and requirements to deliver each project and be proactive in identifying any issues and risks, which may give rise to future claims, and subsequently implement suitable solutions.
A strong track record in managing residential projects - We will look at individuals that have worked for main contractors a range of mixed use, residential projects. We are seeking individuals that are experienced and knowledgeable on most general construction methods, including modern methods of construction, steel frame, concrete frame, timber frame etc.
Highly safety conscious, Attention to detail & Quality driven They will implement process and procedures to make sure the Site is managed effectively and to the required standards
High level of Programming experience ideally using Asta or MS Project
Duties/responsibilities include but arent limited to:
* Overseeing the entirety of the project from outset through to completion whilst reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager
* Management of a site team consisting of managers including trainees and develop the management plan outlining responsibilities of each team member.
* Manage and ensure all H&S regulations, legislation, company procedures, quality standards/procedures and statutory requirements are met across each scheme.
* Continually monitor and control the project budget, prelims and produce monthly reports for the directors board together with attending monthly director/contract meetings.
* Produce, implement and monitor contract, target and short-term programmes together with reporting progress and critical items to ensure the delivery of the project is on time and on budget.
* Produce the monthly client progress reports for chairing monthly progress meetings and presenting to external funders.
* Working closely with the client with maintaining a good relationship as well as holding external funder site meetings together with visits/tours.
* Working with the commercial team to secure and manage all the required subcontractors and resources to deliver each scheme including planning, resourcing, allocating and scheduling of all materials for the scheme.
* Working with and manage the design team ensuring the design adheres to all regulatory/statutory standards and enable the design to be produced on site.
* Managing and maintaining the handover of each project to the client ensuring all H&S information and documentation is available, complete, and presented as required to enable an easy handover
