Technical Sales ManagerLocation Within 1 hour of Rugby, Warwickshire

Purpose of Role:
To be the primary relationship owner with a major client and support any technical issues and find quick resolution.
Duties:
* The role will require travel around the UK/Europe to visit customers/equipment onsite as required.
* The ability to focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables.
* Focus on ensuring our client maintains superior customer service levels, operational excellence, and strategic insight into what the market and their client are planning.
* Use of existing business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organisational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
* Work closely with Technical Sales and Warranty Administrator to identify and onboard service agents across UK/Europe.
* Create partnerships with Engineering, Production and Shipping to enable quick resolution of quality/onsite issues.
* Work to tight deadlines and provide proactive project updates to Management.
* Actively look for cost value engineering suggestions to present to client as part of their Supplier Scorecard responsibilities.
* Deliver training to the wider team on technical matters through workshops and other means offline and online.
Experience:
Demonstrable track record in Customer Success and/or Account Management in a technical or product sales environment, gained from a Commercial Catering Equipment or Catering environment.
Working knowledge and experience with contracts and contract negotiations
Project and program management experience; knowledge of key concepts including phases, plans, deliverables, scope, and tasks.
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Person Specification:
Candidate must be customer centric, team player, flexible, have the ability to organise workload, be proactive, professional and project manage to demanding deadlines.
Whilst the role is technical sales, it will also be administrative orientated and requires an excellent understanding of processes/procedures to enable working within defined deadlines.
Candidate should have extensive experience in a product led environment as an understanding of equipment is essential to this role
