Expleo UK is currently seeking a Senior Stress Engineer to deliver technical projects within our extremely busy Aerostructures department. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of Aerostructures engineering projects on time and quality.To achieve this, you will be leading teams of engineers to ensure the requirement is delivered on time and to the highest standards.Responsibility for leading the efficient delivery of projects in terms of timescale, cost and quality.
Working with the relevant stakeholders as appropriate, to report on the technical progress of the project.
Checking of technical deliverables to a high standard (e.g. reports, presentations, ECMs)
Coaching and mentoring more junior stress engineers.
Acting as primary technical liaison with the project client.
Liaison with project managers and delivery managers to ensure that adequate staff, of the appropriate skill and experience are allocated to the project to ensure specified timescale and quality standards are achieved.
Assisting in the preparation of quotations
Identification of potential variations to work scope at an early stage and escalation to the project manager.
Liaison with sub-contractors where appropriate.
Assessing and documenting the technical risks on the project.
Ensure the adherence to the Company's Quality Assurance Policies in any work undertaken on the project.
Reporting to the Customer Stress Lead and Technical Authority for Aerospace Analysis.
Beng in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent work experience
