Are you an experienced Teaching assistant looking for a new challenge?CER Education are currently recruiting for a FULL TIME TEACHING ASSISTANT role to start in January 2024
The role is working at a 3 form entry Primary School in Liverpool, supporting in Key Stage 2 ( Year 3 - 6 ) and will be continuing until July 2024. The role is a general Classroom Assistant role and you will be supporting with Numeracy and Literacy sessions.
Job Responsibilities;
Support class teachers in managing class behaviour and lesson delivery
Setting up and running Key Stage 2 related activities
To understand the classroom roles and responsibilities and promote school ethos
Prepare the classroom ready for lessons
Ensure safeguarding regulations are consistently adhered to Essential Skills;
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification ( Level 2/3 ) and have classroom based experience
Resilience and a great work ethic
Feel comfortable receiving direction from the classroom teacher
Working with small groups and 1:1 - SEND experience
