Job summary
CMA Recruitment Group are working with an established firm in Winchester to help them recruit an Accounts Assistant into a newly created position due to some growth within the business. As a new member of the team, you would benefit from a generous salary, private healthcare, modern offices and to join a friendly and experienced finance team.What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?
Process all purchase and sales invoices using Sage50.
Manage payment dates and follow up on payments internally.
Liaise closely with suppliers to deal with any payment queries.
Assist in preparing quarterly VAT returns and reconciling the VAT accounts.
Processing monthly credit card transactions.
Ad-hoc accounts and general administration where needed.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:
Previous experience in similar position.
Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience using Sage50 or Quickbooks would be beneficial.
Intermediate excel user.
Team player who is happy to pick up non finance tasks if needed.
