SQL Developer
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated SQL Developer to join and enhance the product development team. This is a technical role suited to someone with a background in data engineering for the purposes of delivering insightful analytics.
Design and development of on-premise and cloud-based data warehouse solutions using SQL and commercial ETL tools. Leading on design principles for best practice in the cloud environment.
Working closely with the Product Owner to identify and innovative solutions to customer problems. Taking the lead on design decisions and developing a market leading product.
Requirements:
We're looking for a variety of skills and experience levels in data warehouse and analytical applications.
Above all else, we're looking for smart, passionate candidates who have:
2-4 years experience in BI and Data Warehousing delivery
Experience of working within a structured project delivery environment, perhaps where techniques such as Prince or Agile are used.
Self-starter that communicates well on all levels
An open, collaborative communication style and a team player.
An ability to think fast and learn quickly.
A passion for quality.
Core Technical Skills:
SQL Server version 2008 and above, particularly using TSQL.
Experience with Data Warehousing design techniques and technologies.
Experience of developing ETL/ELT workflows.
An understanding of BI tools, techniques, and processes.
Experience with Azure product stack (Azure Data Factory, Data lake Gen2, Cosmos DB)
Experience with a commercial BI tool (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau)
Healthcare industry knowledge/experience is hugely desirable
