Job summary
Full-Time Special Needs Primary Teacher (M1 - UPS3), January 2024 - Initially Maternity cover with potential of permanent.We are seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will help teach and support students with special needs in a supportive and inclusive environment. This is a full-time position. The class is Year 2, KS1.
Job Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering lessons to students, according to the school curriculum.
Assessing and monitoring the progress of students.
Developing and adapting teaching materials to cater to individual student needs.
Working with other teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide students with the best possible learning environment.
Assisting with school events and activities.
Providing guidance and support to students and helping them achieve their full potential.
Ensuring the safety and welfare of students.
Staying up to date with educational developments.
Requirements:
QTS or equivalent
Strong communicator.
Ability to work with students of all ages in the primary phase.
Creativity and enthusiasm.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
