Location: Hull
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Graphic Designer in Hull looking for a role client-side. As a Graphic Designer reporting to the Head of Creative, you will play a key role in producing marketing concepts, print and digital artwork for all our client's brands. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the adherence to brand guidelines, fostering brand consistency across various channels. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create print-ready materials: Develop visually appealing and print-ready materials for use by all our client's brands, ensuring high-quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Digital Marketing Graphics: Design web, social media, and digital marketing graphics to effectively communicate the brand message across online platforms.
- Brand Guideline Adherence: Follow brand guidelines with precision, maintaining consistency in all produced materials.
- Concept Development: Generate new design concepts, graphics, and page layouts that align with brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Deadline Management: Ensure deadlines are met consistently, delivering materials to the highest quality standard.
- Proofreading: Proofread artworks to produce accurate and error-free materials.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams to align goals and contribute to a cohesive creative strategy.
- Supplier Liaison: Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and quality of outsourced materials.
- Team Collaboration: Be a team player, working constructively and positively within the Creative Department.
- Technology Excellence: Stay abreast of graphic design trends and future technologies, maintaining excellence in graphic design practices.
- Flexibility: Assist in all other tasks within the department as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Degree or equivalent experience in graphic design with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Business Acumen: Experience working within a fast-paced, results-oriented business.
- Software Proficiency: Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with After Effects animation/video software is desirable.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in using MS Office products.
- Graphic Design Skills: Demonstrated ability to produce outstanding graphics with creative flair, originality, and a strong visual sense.
