Job summary
Position: Energy Administrator* Location: Welwyn Garden City, Herts
* Salary: £24,000 per annum +£2k guaranteed quarterly bonus paid in 1st Year
* Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, Monday - Friday / Part-remote up-to 2 days in office - when successfully pass 3 month probation period / 37.5 Hours per week

The Company
Our client is one of the UKs leading Purchasing Consultancy and currently has an excellent opportunity for an Energy Administrator to join their team in Hertfordshire.
Job Role:
This role will suit someone with great organisational skills and the ability to multitask, as well as someone who is comfortable in dealing with people at all levels of the business and creating excellent relationships with suppliers.
Strong organisational skills are paramount to succeeding in this role, as you will be managing a large database of existing and new customer contracts,
You will ideally be proactive and able to work off your own initiative and good at establishing priorities and achieving deadlines to manage your workload effectively. Having the ability to plan and organise will be key to succeeding in this role.
The Role:
The role comprises of administrative involvement across most elements of the Utility Metering department, from prospects through to implementation. The role includes, but is not restricted to: creating new and renewal contracts, setting up new customers on the system (contracts, invoicing and ordering), keeping company databases organised and up to date, and resolving any queries/issues with meters through suppliers.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Managing new customer metering and Energy Management contracts from paperwork, placing new orders, invoicing and customer set up.
Obtaining metering contract information from the current provider and sending out paperwork and analysis as required.
Managing meter installations Liaising with suppliers to track meter installs and ensure they are completed successfully & data is received correctly.
Actioning requests from Account Managers regarding metering data, contract status, installation progress etc.
Ensuring the systems are continuously updated actioning all new supplies & cancellations.
Ordering meter installations on behalf of customers.
Keep up to date with industry standard best practice.
Managing data inputting.
Duties Include:
Ensure new Energy Management and Metering customers are processed and set up within the proposed timeframe.
Keeping the company database up to date and organised managing new & existing contracts and installations.
Liaising and maintaining a good relationship with suppliers.
Providing support to Account Managers and other areas of the business as required.
Liaising with various teams within the business, including involvement in various projects.
Working closely with your direct team and effectively communicating regarding shared responsibilities.
