Job summary

Are you looking for a new exciting role to join an expanding team, facilitating product growth and development. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the world's leading R&D companies as they are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer based at their state of the art R&D facility in Hertfordshire in the UK.

For this Senior Systems Engineer role, you will be responsible for carrying out System engineering activities in support of new product development including requirements capture, architectural design and system compliance. This will include supporting the whole lifecycle projects from concept, new product development, product updates through to production support and retirement.

Main responsibilities for this this Senior Systems Engineer role will include:

- Development of high quality, high demand products sold into a regulated environment.

- Act as a focal point for Systems engineering activities including requirements capture, architectural design, system compliance, design, and legislative compliance

- Produce Systems schedule detailing the support activities to be undertaken during the new product design cycle.

- Manage multiple projects utilising specialist subcontractors as required to deliver in a fast-moving development environment

The skills/experienced required for this Senior Systems Engineer are:

- Have a good working knowledge of Systems Engineering techniques including Requirements management, SysML & Use Cases.

- Have an up to date overview of environmental regulations compliance and ESOH awareness

- Managed and supervised the work from external technology partners and SMEs related to ILS activities

- Qualified in a Software, Electronics, Mechanical or Systems Engineering discipline to degree level or equivalent

- Collaborative team worker, Individually motivated working well without supervision, and committed to deadlines
