Artworker & Account Executive, Commercial Print SW LondonDiverse & very well invested Print organisation offering full service Solutions that incorporate Design, Small & Large Format Digital, Direct Mail, Commercial Litho & Carton Packaging, seeks a talented & experienced individual to further strengthen their Pre-Press technical & Client Services capabilities.
You will join a Client Services team that is passionately committed to providing friendly, expert and outstanding value and design, print and communications solutions, working closely with Clients and Account Managers to ensure work is won, whilst optimising the return and ensuring work is accurately produced and deadlines met.
The role primarily requires an experienced Artworker/Pre Press professional, possessing a depth and breadth of knowledge of all aspects of studio operations, including maintenance and workflow, ideally with comprehensive litho and digital experience, but large format print exposure would also be useful, as this is an increasingly prominent area of their business.
The role demands an individual with a strong eye for process, workflows and accuracy, but with a keen technical interest/acumen in continually developing the boundaries of capability, both creatively and technically, spanning both images and data.
Key criteria;
* Minimum 5 years working in the print industry, with proven experience in a multifaceted studio operator role
* Excellent knowledge of Adobe CS packages and ideally in ISO 12647 colour control
* Commercial experience of industry standard estimating & production control systems in managing projects for lithographic, digital and wide format print and mailing
* IT literate and numerate with welldeveloped analytical skills
* Strong skills in organisational, time management and attention to detail.
You will be comfortable being briefed from either Clients, Account Managers or Sales, creating or manipulating supplied artwork and origination, preparing digital output, whilst constantly applying the correct procedures and systems to deliver a consistency of service with the highest quality of product, so exposure to the automation of systems between their MIS (Tharstern) and Prinergy (Kodak) would be beneficial.
With an engaging personality and strong Client interface skills, youll work within a highly organised and co-operative team, utilising your acquired experience to deliver effective solutions across the diversity of their digital, litho, web to print, direct mail, fulfilment and distribution capabilities.
