Working with Adults Living with Learning Disabilities in a Supportive Living setting
Pay rate: £11.30
Full time/Part time
Heartland Care Recruitment are currently seeking a specialist Learning Disabilities Support Worker to work on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with service users within a brand-new Specialist Supportive Living setting in the area of Chesterfield. You will be Supporting individuals to be more independent, Assisting with light personal care, Medication Support, Maintaining a tenancy, Cooking, Cleaning, Finances, etc. This post will lead to a full-time employment for the right candidate after a 12-week induction period.
If you have:
* At least 6 months experience of working with and providing care for adults with complex support needs and live with Autism, Learning Disabilities or Acquired Brain Injuries and Mental Ill Health
* A good level of English both spoken and written
* The desire to make a difference in the lives of others
* Worked within a similar setting and have the passion to provide a difference in the lives of those in need of assistance
