Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a successful Door supplier.

This position would suit somebody who has a detailed knowledge of the Window and Door industry aswell as coming from a background of selling into Fabricators.

As business development manager you will be responsible for devising a sales strategy in South to achieve growth as required by the business plan. The role requires an in depth understanding of the companys products, services and capabilities and identifies a strategy to extract the maximum value from the market.

The role:

* Research and identify current opportunity areas considering service, geography, value and competition.

* Devise strategic sales plan to capitalise on opportunities, address weaknesses and deliver growth in accordance with the long-range business plan.

* Work closely with Marketing Manager to ensure alignment between sales and marketing, ensuring maximum value is being extracted from annual marketing spend.

* Where there are new products being released, these are to be introduced to existing Customers and used to introduce new Customers to the Business.

* Report on all KPI requirements with the Line Manager

* Ensure documents are controlled and that the system is regularly audited.

* Take an active role in making business improvements

The candidate:

* Must have a background within the Fenestration/ door sector within the UK

* Have experience and understanding of glazing system technical features and UK construction market

* Have experience working in trade

* Excellent planning and organisational skills

* Be able to manage own workload

* Good attention to detail

* High level of computer skills

* Understanding of business systems and volume production
