The role
We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and fit out, with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
* Scoping the requirements for the business and taking client briefs.
* In charge of the creation of detailed estimates for materials and labour.
* Researching, sourcing, negotiating and obtaining the best prices for materials and services.
* Finalising tender submissions with senior estimator and Directors.
Requirements:
* Experienced knowledge within the joinery sector is good, but essential
* Proficient in the understanding of the workings of joinery production would be a benefit, but not essential
* Ability to complete take offs and estimates accurately and efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
