Job summary
IMH Recruitment are currently looking for Grounds and Streets Operatives to work on behalf of our client in Rotherham. To be part of a team who carry out grounds maintenance and cleansing duties throughout the borough in line with current Health and Safety legislation.Duties:
* Mowing of open green spaces on highways, roadside verges, parks and housing estates.
* Blowing of footpaths.
* Picking up litter and other aspects in relation to grounds maintenance.
* Removal of weed growth, litter picking, removal of drug litter and carrying out winter salting.
* To ensure streets and public areas are maintained.
* Carry out general duties, working outside in all weathers and undertake tasks.
* To have a high impact within the neighbourhoods and communities of Rotherham.
* Additional responsibilities when required.
Requirements:
* Individuals must have a level of fitness that allows them to carry out gardening work.
* Knowledge and experience in the use of a variety of horticultural and street cleansing equipment.
* Full driving licence.
* Knowledge of legislation relating to health and safety requirements of the post
* Willing to undertake further training to enhance skills within role.
Hours & Pay:
* Monday - Friday
* 7:00am-3:00pm
* £11.59 Per Hour
