We understand the role of technology and benefits of successful integration for our clients and within society.This particular opportunity is for a principal Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer reporting to the design manager supports our client who is involved in marine activities at Devonport. Attendance at Devonport will be needed 1-2 days per month.
Lead and manage the EC&I engineering work packages agreeing project related objectives, managing overall designer performance and making appropriate technical management responses.
Provide technical design guidance and review of EC&I system designs incorporating Design Basis Events and Safety Functional requirements as defined in the Safety Case.
Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget.
Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
Ensuring effective Quality Management Arrangements, operate and deliver through compliance with Client Business Management System and Technical Manual.
Ensure that the processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.
Support the SDDP Design Manager implementing the project approach to Health, Safety and Environmental issues as applicable to design.
A Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience
