Job summary
Hunter Gatherer AHP have several very exciting Band 7/8a locum opportunities based with several NHS Hospital services, located in and around Surrey (please enquire for exact locations), for Locum Band 7/8a Pharmacists to join the ward and dispensary teams from late April 2024 onwards, on ongoing contracts up to 12 months! Pay rate on offer here up to £45.00 per hour via umbrella , dependong on prior experience.PLEASE NOTE previous hospital wards experience is requirement for these roles.
There is free parking available on site at all hospitals.
The role will be to cover the various inpatient wards and complete the clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing, there will also be some accuracy checking of medication, offering advice on dosages and side effects of drug interaction, and maintain accurate and detailed records of all medications processed.
The working pattern will be either 8am - 4pm OR 9am 5pm (30 mins lunch break) Monday Friday, there will be no on call or weekend working needed. For the right applicant, part time working may be considered (3 4 days per week).
Applicants must have some form of prior ward based hospital pharmacy experience to be suitable for these roles.
These services are seeking cover immediately (April 2024), and the roles will be a contract length of up to 12 months, long term!
The service is a large NHS Trust located in the heart of Surrey/West London with physical health wards to be covered.
