Job summary

We are working with a leading Construction and Infrastructure contractor looking for a Sub-Agent in Cambridgeshire.

Objective: The Sub Agent will lead the charge in managing diverse projects within their domain, ensuring meticulous execution from inception to completion. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of precision and excellence, supported by a team but with ultimate responsibility for the project's success.

Responsibilities:

Foster a high-performance work environment for the team.
Perform inspections of temporary works to ensure compliance and safety.
Analyse design proposals, addressing technical concerns with the design team.
Develop a detailed three-month forecast for project activities, ensuring they align with the master schedule.
Maintain comprehensive records of site activities, communicating changes effectively.
Oversee timely and precise requisitions for resources by engineers.
Ensure meticulous capture and storage of quality records.
Address Non-Conformance Records swiftly to maintain project integrity.
Uphold stringent health and safety standards within the team and with external contractors.
Advocate for robust environmental practices in all project aspects.
Drive initiatives to minimize carbon footprint in project execution.Qualifications:

A degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or HND with additional vocational training.
Proficient communication skills, catering to a diverse audience.
Solid grasp of engineering concepts and construction practices.
Familiarity with construction contracts, gained through experience and formal education.
Aspiring towards or holding a Professional Industry Qualification (IEng, CEng, etc.).
Digital literacy, including MS Office, document control systems, and on-site digital tools.
Certified training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS).
Holder of a relevant CSCS Card.Desirable Experience:

Proficiency in managing excavation operations and adhering to HSG47 regulations.
Expertise in lifting operations, certified as CPCS A61 Lifting Appointed Person.
Experience in Temporary Works as a Supervisor, Designer, or Coordinator.
