Job summary

We are looking to recruit a friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic RECEPTION OFFICER to join a motivated and professional administration team that delivers outstanding customer service to a variety of self-pay, private medical insured, and NHS patients.
Knowledge & Experience we are seeking:
You will need to be flexible, have a good telephone manner, excellent face to face interpersonal skills, an ability to prioritise workloads and demonstrate team work, to be successful in this role.
Previous experience working with the public both face to face and over the telephone desired.
Experience of booking appointments desired.
Knowledge and/or experience of working within a healthcare/medical environment desired.
Good GCSE grades in Maths & English required (grade C or above) preferred.
The role is based mainly at the Ashford site with occasional cover required at their Canterbury site. In addition, there will be a small number of occasions where you may be needed to travel to the Margate site, so a driving licence and own transport is absolutely essential.
The Reception Officer position is full time and offered on a temp to perm basis, so you would start on a temporary basis for 12 weeks and then transfer to permanent.
Salary: £23,957.00 - £25,532.00 depending on experience and qualifications.
37.5 hours per week.
There will be the requirement to work weekends as clinics dictate, but on a rota system, with the team.
Attractive enhancements of 30% for Saturday working and 60% for Sunday working is applied, for any weekend working you are rostered for.
