On behalf of our customer we are recruiting for CNC Machinists, both Turners and Millers to join their busy team. Successful candidates will be able to programme, set and operate CNC machines producing precision components to a high specification and rigorous quality standard.
The Job role;
1. Set and run CNC machines
2. Preferably some knowledge of VMC/HMC
3. Essential to the role is the ability to set and where necessary update programmes using Fanuc controls
4. Ability to write programmes would be a strong advantage
5. Must be able to read and understand technical drawings
6. Inspect your own work using conventional measurement techniques, diagnose errors and correct any deviation
About you;
1. CNC Turner or Miller with Fanuc control experience
2. Experience of producing complex components to very tight tolerance
3. Experience of operating a range of CNC machines and manual machines
4. Work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision
5. Knowledge of metal cutting techniques and Lean principles
