Job summary
**About Employer:**Employer lives in Brighton and identifies as female. Employer has cerebral palsy and autism and is a wheelchair user. They need constant support and lots of reminding. Employer is 18 years old and enjoys music, computer games, socialising and wants to have fun, be independent and live life to the fullest. They would like more than one p/a to support them with this. Ideally at least one of the p/a's will be able to drive and employer has their own car for the p/a to use. There are 5 cats in the household, so must like cats. Employer has a loving family who also support.
**Main Duties:**
Housework Personal care, assisting to shower, shave, dress and toileting Accompanying to appointments Accessing the community Prompting medication Taking to and from college Assisting with Physio exercises At times supporting with college work
**Essential requirements for PA:**
Full UK license (employer has own car for p/a use)(non-drivers can still apply)DBS certificate Long term Permanent Able to work on their own with minimal guidance Multitasker Great sense of humour Organizational skills, Good communication skills Willing to have fun
**Work Schedule and Pay rate:**
£11.75 per hour for an employed p/a.
£13.50 per hour weekdays and £14.70p/h weekends for self employed - UTR proof will be needed.
Care package is 46 hours per week. Days and times can be discussed in interview. More than one p/a is required so in the interview process discussions can be had regarding the availability of the prospective p/a and how many hours they would like to work.
