Job summary
White Label are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for CAD Technician to work with a market leading, Engineering business in Hull. The company are looking to hire due to increase in orders and workload.The Role:
The CAD technicians role will be to work as a member of a cross functional project team involved in the design, manufacture and installation of customer specified door sets. As part of this role, the CAD Technician will create CAD drawings and models that reflect the customers requirements on each order. Along with schematics and fabrication drawings for the manufacturing processes.
* Preparation of Elevations, Sections and Fixing Detail drawings for submission to Architects, Engineers and Clients.
* Liaise with Architects, Engineers and Clients to ensure compliance with specification and budget.
* Operate and maintain RFI system.
* Input data to software package for the production of BOM, Cutting Lists and Worksheets for use on shop floor.
* Attend site meetings/resolve site issues relating to windows, doors and other products as the need arises.
* Prepare Operation and Maintenance files for each project.
* Liaise with internal company departments to ensure project programs are maintained.

The Person:
* 3D & 2D Draughting Skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential, qualification beneficial.
* 7-10 years of experience in a construction environment with SolidWorks, AutoCAD and BIM knowledge.
* Confident with MS office software packages.
* Ability to understand and interpret information provided by Clients.
* Good time management skills.
* Knowledge and previous experience within the design and detailing of aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling.

* Up-to £40,000 depending on experience
