Role Overview:As a Support Worker at
Heath Road you will work with people who have learning disabilities and complex needs to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible.
This registered service supports individuals within the home and local community. As a Support Worker you will be assisting them to lead independent and fulfilling lives; the people we support are at the heart of all we do. A big part of your role will be supporting people to do their favourite things and try new activities. We ensure they reach their full potential and of course well make sure that you reach yours. Heath Road is a purpose built modern environment with a home from home atmosphere. We are located in Heath Holmewood close to Chesterfield with access to public transport that drops you off opposite the home and easy access to junction 29 M1. As a support worker at Heath Road you will contribute to delivering great person centered care to all the people we support through motivation and empowerment, encouraging a more independent quality of life.
Previous experience is required, however all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. Youll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.
