Job summary
Our client is a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, renowned for delivering excellence in construction and infrastructure projects. With a strong portfolio of significant schemes and frameworks, they are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Engineering Manager to join their North West business arm.Role Overview: As a Digital Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation of digital construction methodologies across a number of projects. You will be responsible for leading the digital engineering strategy, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital engineering strategy aligned with project objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure digital initiatives support project delivery and enhance overall efficiency.
BIM and Software Implementation:
Oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Facilitate the integration of BIM technologies into project workflows alongside other modelling softwares, fostering a collaborative and data-driven environment.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of digital engineering professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the digital engineering team.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, design teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
Communicate digital engineering concepts and strategies effectively across different project teams and disciplines.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality assurance processes to validate digital models and data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
Conduct regular audits to assess and improve the overall quality of digital deliverables.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs within the organisation and develop programs to enhance the digital skills of project teams.
Stay abreast of industry advancements and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar Digital Engineering Manager role within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of BIM processes, digital construction technologies, and industry standards.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
