Job Duties:
Supporting the educational and social development of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
Providing one-on-one support to SEN students as needed
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with other staff members and parents to ensure the well-being of SEN students
Required Qualifications:
A relevant qualification in education or child development
Experience working with children with SEN
A passion for supporting and enhancing the educational experience of SEN students
Education:
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant field
Experience:
Prior experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs
Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN educational strategies and techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Patience and empathy when working with SEN students
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in SEN support or child psychology
Experience using assistive technology to support learning
Working Conditions:
Work primarily within a school setting
Regular interaction with children and educational staff
Full-time hours, typically Monday to Friday
Possibility of occasional evening or weekend work for school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
